The Third Annual US Open Commission Rock-n-Ribs Festival is in the books and this year was bigger than ever.

Congratulations to the Judge's Rib Choice winner, Marion Country Club and the People's Choice winner, Michael's Steakhouse and the 2008 Battle of the Bands winner, Scene of the Crime.

The event was made possible though the support of several area businesses and organizations including: the Marion Star, The Ohio State University at Marion, Marion Technical College, Wyandot Popcorn, Con Agra Foods, Streetwise Motors, Delmar Distributing, Modern Woodmen of American, Taste Bud's Catering, Jester's Court Recording Studios, The OSUM Bookstore, Shirk's Candy, United Marketing Concepts, Sway's Trophies, Kroger, Wal-Mart, Peacock Water, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Perkins.  But Most of all Thank You Marion for making this the greatest event yet and watch over the coming days and months as your support helps bring the gift of music to area kids.
