The Food
Hot ribs, cool drinks, and
more! While you hang out and enjoy the music
grab a bite to eat! Local vendors will be
offering ribs as well as other food for sale for
the whole family to enjoy. Try a rib or two, and
then vote for your favorite for the "People's
Choice" award - your favorite wins a trophy and
bragging rights as the people's favorite for the
rest of the year!
Rib judging by our panel
of local community members will take place at
3pm, with the winner is named Rib Champion. Rib
Champion receives a trophy, $500, and a free
quarter page ad in the Marion Star. "People's
Choice" voting will be totaled later.
Ice cold water, pop, and
assorted adult beverages will be available for
purchase from the U.S. Open, with proceeds
benefiting the U.S. Open’s efforts to promote
the music arts in Marion and Community Radio.
Patrons wishing to purchase beer should make
sure they bring an I.D.
